From Benidorm to Amazon’s Top 100
Mercedes Albert Marín nace en Benidorm y se diploma en Turismo, pero su verdadera pasión siempre fue leer y escribir. Con la Trilogía Ataraxia irrumpió en el mundo literario y llegó a potentes comunidades de fans de Latinoamérica, las mismas que siguen sagas como Divergente o Los Juegos del Hambre.
Sus libros han sido lectura obligatoria en varios colegios e institutos, y ha presentado su obra en la Casa del Libro de Alicante, en el Ayuntamiento de Benidorm y en las Ferias del Libro de Madrid y Valladolid.
Mercedes Albert Marín was born in Benidorm and holds a degree in Tourism, but her true passion has always been reading and writing. With the Ataraxia Trilogy she broke into the literary world and reached powerful fan communities across Latin America — the same ones that follow sagas like Divergent or The Hunger Games.
Her books have been required reading in several schools, and she has presented her work at the Casa del Libro in Alicante, at Benidorm’s city hall, and at the Madrid and Valladolid book fairs.
